The library has been donated an exquisitely designed catalogue, dedicated to a personal exhibition of the renowned Italian sculptor Gianfranco Meggiato, “Lines of the Invisible” held at the Heydar Aliyev Center.

This exhibition catalogue, providing a comprehensive representation of Gianfranco Meggiato’s work, has enriched the thematic collections of the Presidential Library dedicated to art and cultural heritage.

Renowned internationally, Gianfranco Meggiato is a sculptor known for his philosophical-conceptual works and unique approach in contemporary sculpture. His monumental compositions have been exhibited in prestigious galleries in countries such as the USA, Germany, Australia, Austria, Belgium, UAE, UK, China, Denmark, France, India, Switzerland, Spain, Kuwait, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, and Ukraine.

The distinguishing feature of the master’s work is the harmonious blend of ancient and modern elements. It is this original approach and high level of aesthetic expression that earned Gianfranco Meggiato the ICOMOS-UNESCO award.
