Presidential Library Marks 15 June – National Salvation Day with Video Presentation and Traditional Book Exhibition
On the occasion of 15 June – National Salvation Day, the Presidential Library has prepared a commemorative video presentation and organized its traditional book exhibition.
The video, produced in observance of National Salvation Day, draws upon historical facts and archival materials to portray the complex socio-political situation that emerged in Azerbaijan during the first years of independence, the threats confronting the country’s sovereignty, and the return of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, to political leadership at the request of the nation. The presentation further highlights the transformation of 15 June 1993 into a decisive turning point in the history of Azerbaijani statehood. It also illustrates the restoration of socio-political stability following the National Salvation period, the acceleration of state-building processes, Azerbaijan’s advancement along a path of sustainable development, the strengthening of its international standing, and the achievements attained under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev through the continuity of the traditions of Azerbaijani statehood.
The traditional book exhibition organized by the Presidential Library features publications in various languages that reflect different stages of the life and political activity of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, his exceptional contributions to the process of national state-building, his historic role in the development of the modern Azerbaijani state, and his rich legacy of statehood.
The publications presented in the exhibition provide extensive coverage of the diverse dimensions of Heydar Aliyev’s legacy.
