New Publications on Economics and Management Donated to the Presidential Library

Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Hanifa Jafarli, has donated his books “Sustainable Development of the Azerbaijani Economy: Macroeconomic Challenges and Strategic Goals” and “Management Analysis”, as well as the textbook “Financial Analysis”, co-authored with Avaz Alakbarov, to the Presidential Library.

The textbook “Financial Analysis” examines the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of analysing the financial and economic activity of commercial entities. The publication addresses the role of financial analysis in the management system, economic and mathematical methods, financial results, profitability, business activity and the assessment of financial condition, as well as the impact of inflation on financial results. The textbook also presents methodological approaches to the comprehensive assessment and functional diagnostics of the efficiency of financial and economic activity, along with specific examples of analytical calculations.

The monograph “Sustainable Development of the Azerbaijani Economy: Macroeconomic Challenges and Strategic Goals” examines current trends in global economic processes and their impact on the development of the national economy, as well as the macroeconomic aspects of Azerbaijan’s sustainable economic development. The work analyses the challenges facing the development of the national economy, the prospects for the non-oil sector, the strengthening of competitiveness and economic security, and the implementation of strategic goals. It also considers priority areas for economic development in the context of digital transformation and the green economy.

The study guide “Management Analysis” presents the theoretical foundations of economic analysis, its role in management and the methodology for the comprehensive assessment of the activities of business entities. The publication addresses methodological issues related to the analysis of marketing, production and sales volumes, the use of labour and material resources and fixed assets, as well as the cost of products, works and services. The analytical approaches are illustrated with specific numerical examples.

The publications are valuable resources for students and doctoral candidates studying economics and management, as well as specialists and researchers working in these fields.
