A book exhibition dedicated to August 1 – Day of the Azerbaijani Alphabet and the Azerbaijani Language has been organized at the Presidential Library.
The exhibition displays publications covering the historical development, scientific study, and modern application areas of the Azerbaijani language. Alongside scientific publications on key fields of linguistics such as syntax, lexicology, terminology, dialectology, and onomastics, the exposition also features books devoted to the use of the Azerbaijani language in academic and business environments, speech culture, rhetoric, and its functional capacities within a multicultural environment.
A dedicated section of the exhibition features publications reflecting the views of National Leader Heydar Aliyev on the Azerbaijani language and Azerbaijan’s language policy. This section showcases publications highlighting the policy implemented toward preserving, developing, and expanding the application of the state language across various spheres of society.
The exposition includes textbooks, methodological guides, and monographs intended for pedagogical and scientific audiences, as well as publications focused on the teaching of the Azerbaijani language, language-culture relations, development trends under globalization, and its role in the modern communication landscape.
By presenting literature related to the study, scientific research, and promotion of the Azerbaijani language to readers, the organized exhibition serves to convey the rich scientific heritage formed in this field to a broader audience and to promote scientific knowledge regarding the development of the state language.
