The book of 1913, titled “Feuerbach. Des Meisters Gemälde in 200 Abbildungen (“Feuerbach. The Master’s Paintings in 200 Illustrations”) was published by Deutsche Verlags-Anstalt DVA, in Stuttgart and Berlin, in the German language. It constitutes an exquisite art album belonging to the authoritative series “Klassiker der Kunst in Gesamtausgaben”, dedicated to the outstanding masters of the world art heritage. The album showcases the artistic works of Anselm Feuerbach, a leading figure in German academic painting of the 19th century. This edition features 200 high-quality reproductions of his works and is accompanied by introductory materials prepared by Hermann Uhde Bernays.
