The Poetical Works [Percy Bysshe Shelley]

The Poetical Works
This book is an exquisite poetic collection by one of the greatest representatives of English Romanticism, Percy Bysshe Shelley. Published in London in 1894 in English, it brings together selected works of the poet, imbued with the spirit of freedom, the ideals of humanism, delicate lyricism, and protest against social injustice. The book is complemented by an introductory biographical article prepared by William B. Scott and adorned with an engraving depicting Shelley’s cottage in Great Marlow. The luxurious Victorian-era design – embossed cover and artistic details – not only gives the edition literary value but also exceptional aesthetic value. Today, this rare copy is preserved in the collection of the Presidential Library as part of the world cultural heritage.
