Ali Ismayıl

This album is dedicated to the work of a talented master of the brush - Ali Ismail. Ali Ismayil was born in Basarkechar, the West of Azerbaijan in 1960. He graduated from Azerbaijan State Art School named after A. Azimzade in Baku, where he studied Art Education in 1977-1983, and from the Azerbaijan State Art Institute named after M.A.Aliyev, with the second education in 1983-1989. Landscape painting is the main tool of self-expression of Ali Ismayil. Among his paintings you can find realistic landscapes and paintings that are born out of personal experiences. Ali Ismayil's admiration for his motherland does not go unnoticed when you look at his landscape paintings dedicated to the Goycha lake, where he spent of his childhood. The beauty of his hometown is masterfully depicted in his paintings such as "The Great Mountain in the Winter", "Goycha Lake in the Evening", "Winter in the Village", " Goycha Lake", "Our Home" and many others. His expressive philosophy and inspiration can be seen in his painting "Motherland. 1988" dedicated to the great tragedy - the exile of Azerbaijani people from their homes in Western Azerbaijan. This struggle is brilliantly expressed through scattered apples and an overthrown dish against an old Azerbaijani carpet as the background.
