The life and multifaceted contributions of Zarifa Aliyeva—an outstanding Azerbaijani ophthalmologist, academician, and public figure—were presented by the Presidential Library through a multilingual virtual book exhibition entitled “Zarifa Aliyeva.”

The exhibition comprehensively presents the academician’s rich scientific and pedagogical legacy, her contributions to the development of medical science, her public service, and a life marked by devotion to her country and people, through books, scholarly works, and biographical materials published in various languages. These publications highlight her fundamental research in the field of ophthalmology, her scientific achievements, her commitment to humanistic principles as a physician, and her many years of pedagogical activity.

In addition, the virtual exhibition includes memoir essays, journalistic writings, and research works dedicated to her life and activities. These materials portray her not only as a scholar but also offer a fuller portrait of one of the prominent intellectuals of her time, distinguished by strong moral values.

The exhibition is available to the public on the Presidential Library's official website and serves as an important information and research resource for a wide readership. This initiative continues the Presidential Library’s systematic and purposeful efforts to preserve and promote the legacy of individuals who have made valuable contributions to Azerbaijani science and society.
