Elchin Ibrahimov, Head of the Department of Science at Garabagh University and Doctor of Philological Sciences, has donated five of his books to the Presidential Library.
The publications address issues of the common alphabet, orthography, and communication language in the Turkic world, as well as the formation and development directions of language policy in independent Turkic states. The books include discussions on language problems debated within the framework of the First Turkological Congress, considered a significant milestone in the history of Turkological thought, and approaches to establishing a common communication environment in the modern era.
The research explains the interrelations among Turkic languages and the formation of a common writing system and communication platform in a comparative context. Furthermore, the mutual relationship between language policy and social and political processes is substantiated with scientific arguments.
The donated publications enrich the Presidential Library’s collection, serving as an important scientific resource for researchers in Turkology and linguistics, as well as for readers interested in the subject matter. These books create additional opportunities for conducting research on language issues in the Turkic world.
The Presidential Library expresses its gratitude to Elchin Ibrahimov for the publications he has presented.
