A monograph entitled the Language and style of the work “Tibbname” by Mahammad Yusif Shirvani, authored by Maarifa Manafova, Senior Lecturer at Mingachevir State University, has been added to the collection of the Presidential Library.

Comprising three chapters, this fundamental monograph offers a comprehensive and systematic study of the language of Tibbname, a manuscript copied by Mahammad Yusuf Shirvani in 1712. In terms of its linguistic and stylistic characteristics, the work closely corresponds to the literary language of the sixteenth century. Although the authorship of this valuable work remains unknown, it is of considerable importance for tracing the historical stages of the development of the Azerbaijani language.

The publication provides a systematic and consistent analysis of the historical-morphological and syntactic structure of the Azerbaijani language of the medieval period, its lexical richness, as well as the scientific and literary stylistic features of the work.
