The virtual exhibition dedicated to October 25 – Gubadli City Day offers a comprehensive overview of Gubadli’s history, rich natural and geographical features, cultural heritage and public life. The exhibition features books on the city’s origins and development, its favourable geographical location, picturesque natural landscapes, historical and architectural monuments, prominent figures and the socio-economic life of the region. Gubadli, occupied by Armenian armed forces on August 31, 1993, was liberated on October 25, 2020, as a result of military operations carried out by the Azerbaijani Army. This significant date holds a special place in the memory of the Azerbaijani people as an important milestone in the struggle to restore the country’s territorial integrity. The liberation of Gubadli stands as a powerful testament to Azerbaijan’s military strength, the unity of its people and their attachment to their homeland.
